ASPIRE Expeditions

Life-changing extended sailing expeditions in European waters for young people aged 14-18

Life-Changing Expeditions

Extended sailing voyages epitomize the spirit of Sail Training and amplify its transformative potential over an extended timeframe. By immersing young individuals in the life lessons learned aboard for a prolonged period, these journeys transcend mere training; they become incubators for habits that shape character and resilience. Under the 'ASPIRE' banner, our expeditions are aspirational, aiming to raise young people's views of themselves and their potential. The extended exposure to challenges, setbacks, and triumphs at sea creates proficiency in sailing and, most crucially, the development of skills and virtues that endure a lifetime.

Expeditions are more than just an extended Sail Training voyage. The prolonged duration of our expeditions allows participants to unveil layers, uncover strengths they never knew they possessed and address weaknesses with the resilience only the vast open sea can inspire.

More than an adventure, they are an investment in a young person's future.

From our ASPIRE360 Round Britain Challenge to ASPIRE Scotland and ASPIRE Netherlands, each of our expeditions lasts at least a month, immersing 8 to 10 young people aged 14 and above in a transformative sailing experience. These extended journeys provide ample time for participants to push their boundaries, confront challenges head-on, and emerge with newfound resilience and self-discovery. Whether circumnavigating the British Isles or exploring the coastlines of Scotland and the Netherlands, our expeditions offer a unique opportunity for personal growth and character development through the profound lessons of the open sea.
