Join us aboard Helen Mary R for a weekend of sailing, swimming, and exploring!  Sail to Salcombe and explore this picturesque Devon harbour! Flanked by steep hills and golden sandy beaches, the entrance to the harbour is truly stunning. Salcombe is a very popular sailing town and is full of places to explore. The highlight is always taking the tender to the beach across the river, enjoying a few beach games and maybe even a crew BBQ!

This is a fantastic opportunity to experience sailing in a fun and exciting way. Coastal passages with plenty of opportunities to stop, swim, spot wildlife and generally explore the coast between Fowey and Salcombe.

You'll join the boat on Friday afternoon and get to know the rest of the crew before all sharing duties to make dinner. After an early start and a hearty breakfast, we'll sail towards Salcombe, passing the iconic Eddystone Lighthouse. We aim to have half a day in Salcombe and if the weather is nice a trip to the beach. The following morning we'll set sail back to Fowey. Depending on the weather we'll try for a quick swim in Lantic bay before heading in to end this short but exciting adventure.
