We are proud to announce a partnership with Imray, a leading publisher of nautical charts and cruising guides.

Imray has been a trusted name in the sailing world for centuries, and they are known for their high-quality paper and electronic charts, pilot books, and cruising guides authored by prominent sailing experts and clubs. Their apps and provide essential nautical information for sailors all over the world.

They were inspired by our upcoming Round Britain Challenge, called ASPIRE360. ASPIRE360 will see 10 young people aged 14 to 18 set sail on an epic journey around the United Kingdom in April. The team, which includes experienced adult sailors and young people, will be navigating the waters of the UK for six weeks, visiting ports and landmarks along the way. This ambitious voyage is not just about sailing but also about personal development, self-discovery, and empowerment through Sail Training.

The journey, which will begin on April 1st, will take the sailors through some of the UK's most beautiful and challenging waters, including the treacherous North Sea and the picturesque coastlines of Scotland and Wales. Along the way, the team will have educational opportunities to learn about how the sea has shaped our country, made even more possible through Imray products. They will visit iconic museums such as the Titanic Museum in Belfast, the Royal Yacht Britannia in Edinburgh and Greenwich Maritime Museum in London.

As an ambassador for Imray, Morvargh Sailing Project will help spread the word about the publisher's excellent resources to the sailing community and our trainees, and we will gain access to Imray's top-notch charts and guides, ensuring that our youth crews, volunteers, and staff have the most up-to-date and accurate information available at their fingertips.

"We are thrilled to partner with Imray and become their ambassador," said Matt Barraud, Managing Director of Morvargh Sailing Project. " Their commitment to quality and passion for sailing aligns perfectly with our mission to inspire the next generation of sailors and provide life-changing sailing experiences to young people. We look forward to sharing their excellent resources with our crews."

Imray is still owned and operated by descendants of the original founders. The company operates with an independent, family-run ethos, ensuring its publications are of the highest quality and accuracy.

"We are delighted to have Morvargh Sailing Project as an ambassador," said Neville Porteous, Head of Commercial and Sales at Imray. "Their dedication to providing young people with sailing experiences is admirable, and we are proud to support their efforts. We are confident that our charts and guides will be an excellent resource for their crew."

The partnership with Imray is an exciting development. Morvargh Sailing Project has a long-standing commitment to promoting sailing education and has allowed countless young people to experience the thrill of sailing first-hand. Through our youth development program, we aim to inspire a lifelong love and appreciation for the ocean while teaching essential skills such as teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving. Allowing young people to access world-class nautical publications and charts on voyages will strengthen these core skills.
